You are a soul.
You have a body.
Let’s heal them together.
After working for the past few years in Park City and Heber, I reached a point in my massage career where I was ready to venture out on my own and create a bodywork practice that reflects my unique vision. While I enjoyed the convenience and opportunities of the spa setting, I felt that my work was meant to focus more on healing, teaching, and personal growth in an environment that is accessible to everyone. This marks the next step on my journey to success.
The lotus flower symbolizes purity, rebirth, and spiritual awakening. It blooms proudly and unapologetically in muddy waters, representing the ability to rise above difficult challenges in pursuit of enlightenment and self-regeneration. Additionally, the red lotus is traditionally associated with love, compassion, and generosity.
Fire represents transformation, passion, ambition, and creativity. It also embodies love, inspiration, determination, and the bright light we each have within us to share with others. When handled with care and competence, fire becomes a powerful tool that provides warmth, protection, and positive change for those seeking a better life.
Fire Lotus encompasses all these meanings and more. To me, Fire Lotus symbolizes my spiritual journey and fully embodies the intention I put into my work.
Therapeutic touch for deep relaxation and muscle tension relief.
Holistic mind-body approach to release trauma and restore balance.
Customize your treatment with enhancements like CBD or hot stones.
It’s not the same. CBD is derived from the hemp plant, not from its sister plant, marijuana. CBD does not contain the psychoactive chemical THC. (Some extracts do contain trace amounts of THC, which does not cause a “high”.
No, CBD won’t get you high! With that said, massage on its own can induce a deep state of relaxation, and CBD can intensify the effects. (That’s what makes CBD massage so wonderful!) You might find that it takes a few minutes to “recover” once you get off the massage table, but drinking some water and stretching a bit can easily bring you back to full consciousness and awareness.
It’s extremely unlikely that topical application of CBD in a massage oil would trigger a positive drug test. Full-spectrum CBD oil contains trace amounts of hemp-derived THC. If you were ingesting CBD regularly at recommended doses over a length of time, it’s possible that enough THC could build up in your system to show positive. But THC is not well absorbed into the bloodstream via the skin, which means the amount of THC entering your system is much less than if you had ingested it.
I can’t answer that for you! I am certainly an advocate for using CBD products, but I’m not qualified to make an actual recommendation for it. Taking a CBD-containing gummy or tincture beforehand would most likely enhance the experience of any massage, but you’ll do so at your own risk.
That means I’m making them available for adults to purchase for their personal use. As with any medication or product, you should understand the risks and benefits of CBD before taking it.
